In 1985, Mr. Bottaro began his legal career with one of the largest and most well respected law firms in Kansas City. His practice emphasized civil litigation primarily in the personal injury field. The majority of his work involved defending large corporations, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and product manufacturers in serious personal injury litigation many times involving multimillion dollar claims. Mr. Bottaro continued with that firm until 1993 when he resigned along with his current partner, Richard Morefield, in order to change their practice emphasis to representing the interest of individuals that have been injured.

Mr. Bottaro is now the managing member of Bottaro, McCormick & Morefield, L.C. He believes that his first eight years of practice with one of Kansas City's largest law firms provided him with invaluable experience analyzing and evaluating a large variety of personal injury claims from the defense perspective from the initial stages of litigation through trial. Since 1993, Mr. Bottaro's practice has been dedicated to the representation of injured persons in personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, and business and false claims act representation. He also has extensive experience representing individuals and/or estates in claims against insurance companies for life insurance and other insurance benefits.

Mr. Bottaro believes that his extensive defense experience greatly enhances his ability to fully serve his personal injury and workers' compensation clients. He believes in fully evaluating claims at the outset of the litigation and keeping his clients well informed during all stages of litigation. He is detail oriented and believes that there is no substitute for hard work in terms of producing the best results for his clients. He practices primarily in Missouri and Kansas.
